Gas testing is a set of tests that evaluate how materials respond to exposure from various gases under pressure, temperature, and time.
Gas can impact materials on both the physical level and chemical level. Whether it’s common gases like hydrogen and CO2 or reactive gases like methane and H2S, understanding how these affect elastomers, plastics, and metals is essential. Alpine offers a wide range of gas exposure and permeation tests to help validate material performance in demanding service conditions.
Standards we support include ISO 23932, NORSOK M710, NACE TM0192, NACE TM0297, ISO 15105, ISO 2782-1, and bespoke testing options to ensure the data matches our customer’s needs.
